About the Role

We are looking for a Long-form Video Editor with strong knowledge of YouTube best practices, including how to use hooks in the opening moments to retain viewers and improve audience retention. You will transform raw sermon recordings, interviews, teachings, and event footage into polished, high-quality videos that engage viewers from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

•    Edit long-form YouTube videos with a strong opening hook to retain viewers.
•    Structure content for storytelling and pacing that maximises audience engagement.
•    Incorporate intros, outros, graphics, lower thirds, and scripture references.
•    Optimise videos for YouTube SEO and algorithm performance.
•    Collaborate with the Social Media team to repurpose clips for other platforms.
•    Stay updated on YouTube trends, viewer behaviour, and retention techniques.

What We’re Looking For

•    2+ years of experience editing long-form YouTube content.
•    Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
•    Understanding of YouTube analytics and how to apply insights to improve content.
•    Proven ability to use hooks and storytelling techniques to maintain interest.
•    Knowledge of social media platforms for cross-promotion.
