About the Role

As our Short-form Video Editor, you will specialise in creating engaging, scroll-stopping content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You must know how to use strong hooks in the first few seconds to capture viewers’ attention and drive watch time. You’ll work closely with our Social Media team, graphic designers, and content creators to produce content that not only looks great but performs exceptionally well on each platform.

Key Responsibilities

•    Edit short-form videos for social media using raw footage from live events, sermons, interviews, and other ministry activities.
•    Craft impactful opening hooks to grab attention within the first 3 seconds.
•    Create dynamic, engaging, and fast-paced content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
•    Add captions, motion graphics, and creative effects to enhance engagement.
•    Optimise content for each platform’s format and audience behaviour.
•    Stay updated on trends, challenges, and editing styles for short-form platforms.

What We’re Looking For

•    1–3 years of experience editing short-form videos for brands, agencies, or influencers.
•    Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software.
•    Clear understanding of social media platforms and how their audiences engage with content.
•    Proven ability to use hooks effectively to increase watch time and engagement.
•    Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual appeal.
